Mrs Afoma Clara Adigwe, a practicing farmer and entrepreneur with more than 18 years’ experience in agriculture. A graduate of Film Acting from the Central Academy of Film Acting in London, her farm Chrislara Farms located in Ubulu-Uno Delta State has been in operation since 1997. It deals majorly on the cultivation of palm plantation, processing and marketing of palm oil.

She is the National Leadership Partner for Commonwealth Businesswomen for Nigeria.  She is the president and founder of the NGO, Uplifting Women Through Farming (UWTF) and Uplifting Youths Through Agriculture (UYOTA). Whereas UWTF coordinates the empowerment of women through the introduction of modern farming techniques, UYOTA encourages youths to take up profitable careers in agriculture by organizing training on processing, packaging and preservation of Agro-produce. Both NGOs have recorded several success stories since inception in the year 2000.
